If you live in the free world, you probably have seen Lazy Sunday, the meme-tastic viral video of choice from Saturday Night Live. As with all great works of art, it’s spawned a host of imitators:
- You’ve got the original video remixed with the voices of a 7 and 9-year-old, kicking it new school.
- Two 11 year old boys re-enact the video with the original audio.
- Two guys on the opposite coast, offering an amusing Californian retake. If you’re going to watch one, watch this one.
- A lame but political remix from the darkest corners of Middle East.
- An improvised coffee house performance.
It’s a renaissance of white boy rap. For a couple bonus viral videos, check out a more-homoerotic-than-ever recut of the Top Gun trailer, and a new way to look at Sleepless in Seattle.
I will have to check these links out.
🙂
Hahah… those were great! Thanks for the links.
here’s some more white boy rap – this one’s a pretty good promo (although you need to know a little about design to keep up). http://www.okaydave.com/
“Sleepless in Seattle” was just hilarious!
