Most Calming Web Crack Ever

Thanks to Kirsten, I discovered Boomshine, which is kind of the Aveda spa of web games. It’s got calming music, and pretty bouncing dots, and is exceptionally simple to play. Simple doesn’t equal easy, though, and I’ve only gotten to level eight.

Aside from playing the corners and planning for hitting fast-moving dots, I haven’t really developed any sound strategies for winning the game.

  1. It took me about seven tries to get past level 7. From there I have been able to get up other levels fairly efficiently. Try leaving your cursor in the same spot as when clicking the play button and click from there.

  2. Drat you, Darren Barefoot! First the tower game, now this! Not only have I wasted many hours, but my kids are both hooked too, and we’re all fighting for keyboard time.

    Nice work.

  3. I finished the game, clearing level 12 (55 of 60). It was fun, but it only took about 5-10 mins.

The trick is to play the middle when you can get chains of dots going. If you can’t get chains going in at least two directions, you never hit the higher numbers.

  4. Hahaha, I have corrupted you all. Glad you’re enjoying it.

Level 8 is pretty tricky, actually, and then the next few are not quite as bad. We’ve found it helps to sort of defocus your eyes, wait until a large number of dots appear to be about to converge, and click in the center.

Level 12 can take a long time to get past. It’s frustrating to get 54/55 with that last dot just GRAZING on by… but at the same time it’s not the same kind of angry frustration you feel with most games, just a gentle “Aww”.
