This week, both Canada and the US are holding their national figure skating championships. These events determine which skaters will go to Turin for the Olympics.
Suffice it say, I won’t be seeing much of Julie this weekend. Here’s her Saturday schedule:

Ha! We intentionally cleared the calendar for this coming Saturday – quite a sacrifice – but we were only planning to watch one national championship. I wish we could watch the Canadian one too – I’m particularly curious to see the skater who shares our last name.
