Links that have lingering in my links folder:
- Why you
should Google yourself, and often. (Thanks, SWT). - A test to eliminate
the single men from the boys. (Thanks, Jen). - The ugliest
personal security device in history. And it doesn’t even have a mace cannon.
(Thanks, Engadget). - "College sophomore thinks she would be a
good sex-advice columnist". It’s funny cause it’s true. - Roger Ebert finally gets a
new website, completely with hokey photo. Apparently he’s lost
some weight, too. (Thanks, Metafilter). - You’re never going to see a
more personal view of the conflict in Iraq. - Curious, amusing video clip of man
demonstrating a cheap keyboard (WMV). (Thanks, Coudal,
I think). - Fish posters of
the world. This
one is familiar from my elementary school classrooms. - That
watch be pimpin’. - An impressively detailed map
of Springfield. - Finally, a car that matches
our porch furniture.
– I google myself all the time. I didn’t see any difference using intext: as opposed to just your name.
– For some reason I like (xhtml) on Ebert’s site header, but is that photo a joke?
– A “personal view of the conflict in iraq”, is that hoax of some kind, I can’t see this soldier getting away with it. I was reading cbftw.blogspot.com before it was censored, I can’t see this guy getting away with writing about wringing Iraqi children’s necks.
Uh, that sex advice thing? That’s the Onion. It’s all satire.
Jim: I know that, but that doesn’t make it not true.
