A while back, I referenced the solar-powered jacket that recharges your gadgets and the nutter who brought his own TV and VCR to my apartment gym. These concepts converge with a portable geek gym from Wired magazine:
The portable geek gym consists of a pair of sunglasses with a half-inch square LCD screen incorporated into the right lens, a Pocket PC with video output, a pedometer that can be attached to a running shoe, a Spot Watch that can receive and display news from the Web, headphones and a GPS unit.
You know, my iPod alone requires a fair bit of attention while I’m working out. I’m not sure that I could manage all of these devices and exercise without, I don’t know, crippling myself or passers-by (is that plural correct, and does it get a hyphen?).
Wow, listening to my headphones, trying to read Cosmo, and working out seems hard enough!
