I’m surprised the artwork is “only” 256 colours actually, since during the early years much of the art on the Amiga was created in 32 and limited 64 colour palettes. Andy Warhol created a portrait of Debbie Harry on an Amiga 1000 during a Commodore launch party and I’m doubting it had more than 32 colours.
