Tanya’s been watching the prices on the Dell 30″ 3007WFP widescreen flat panel monitor for a while, and reports on a major bargain for Canadian shoppers:
I was doing my regular check at Dell.ca today to see if I could spy a deal on my (soon-to-be) coveted Dell 30″ 3007WFP UltraSharp Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor, and low and behold, my research paid off today!

Congratulations! You have qualified for $500.00 savings with your online purchase!
Um, ya. I’ll take $500 off!!!! SOLD!!!
That’s quite a deal. And at 30 inches, it’s a TV–you can actually lean back in your chair and watch a movie on that badboy. I understand that Dell’s monitors are better than Apple’s for this sort of thing, as the contrast on them is superior.
Looks cool. Wish I could but my better half would say that a purchase like that = 5 sweet nights in Paris this summer.
Even with the $500 discount.
maybe in another life. 😦
Ooh, you don’t know how much I want this.
At my workplace we have the 24″ version. It’s a thing of beauty, really.
Out of curiosity, what kind of monitor do you have, Darren?
I’m so damned giddy… I can’t wait for it to arrive, and it was only ordered this morning!!! Heheh!
Hamish: I’ve got a 23″ Apple Cinema display, which I bought off the set of Catwoman for a wickedly good price. It’s probably 3 years old now, but I’m still very happy with it.
