Speaking of hockey, I’ve got a couple of spaces left in my hockey pool. If you’d like to join, drop me an email at darren [at] darrenbarefoot [fullstop] com. Here are the particulars:
- I’ll be using The Common Fan to manage the pool.
- It will cost $20.
- You’ll be picking twenty players–some combination of forwards and defencemen.
- There will be a couple of redrafts throughout the year.
- The draft will be held at some kind of public house on Monday, October 1. If you can’t or don’t want to attend in person, you’ll be able to participate via IM or by giving me a ranked list of 200 or so players. I will be a Nazi on draft night, to ensure that it doesn’t take five hours.
