A reader sent along a link to Kodak’s new blog, A Thousand Words:
So, do we have something to say about digital imaging? You bet, plenty! Who better to bring you stories from the trenches of digital photography than people from around the globe who live, breathe, and dream about the topic each and every day (and night!).
Thus far, they’re doing everything right:
- Making employees the focus (and thus the stars)? Check.
- Distributing the workload, thus avoiding corporate blogger fatigue? Check
- Usage and comments policy? Check.
- RSS feed? Check.
- Comments open? Check.
- Minimizing the marketing content? Check.
I’ll start before I bore you any further.
I will say that there’s an unlikely sameness to the writing in each of the three posts. Maybe they’re not being quite spontaneous enough with the posting? Too much editing, perhaps?
Darren,
Thanks. We’ll take 5 “Checks” that is
a great score!
We’ll have to watch that editing and
put in some planned spontaneity 😉
I appreciate your checking the blog out.
We’ll do our best to keep true to the intent and watch for signs of CBF
(“corporate blogger fatigue” – since I am in a corporation I felt compelled to make a three letter acronym out of your term) Cheers – tom
I have brought a kodak camera and found out I needed some more batteries, and made a order to only find out I made a incorrect order, called kodak and order the correct ones and order those..now I am being charged a additional 22.18 for shipping that I find riduclous..kodak should reimburse me somehow someway for the shipping cost!!!!!
As of right now if anyone was to ask me about my opinion of kodak it would not be very high!!!
