Make a Video About Wind and Cash In

Western Wind Energy is sponsoring a viral video competition at WindBlows.us. As far as I can tell, that’s not supposed to be ‘Wind Blows Us’, but that might have been more clever. Here’s the gist:

• Entries may not be longer than 1 minute.
• Contestants must register and upload video by midnight September 28th, 2006 PST.
• Entrants must be at least 16 years old.
• Entrants may create any video desired. See Video Creation Requirements. Drama, comedy, trailer style, family, vacation, spoof, documentary style. Entrants may submit multiple entries.

The prize is $10,000, and apparently based on website votes. This is a local, kind of niche project, and I’m guessing a couple of smart, web-savvy people could own this thing. If anybody has a great idea and wants help, let me know. And, frankly, their sample video is a bit crass.
