Derek's PowerPoint Fu

I’ve been meaning to blog about this one for a while, and the convergence of seeing Derek and being at Gnomedex (where there were mercifully few PowerPoint presentations) reminded me.

Since 2003, Derek Miller has been assembling a big list of links concerning the responsible use of PowerPoint:

Now to the list. I slag PowerPoint a lot here, but my point is that if
you know its flaws, you can avoid them and maybe use the program
effectively to do what you need to do: tell a story. The newest entries appear at the bottom of this list, so scroll down if you’ve been here before.

As I mentioned earlier, I recently saw An Inconvenient Truth. Not only was it an ad for global action on climate change, but it also was a bloody good promotion for Apple’s Keynote.
