Which well-funded startup wants to snatch up this badboy and then sublet 300 square feet to us? I don’t actually know which floating house is the office, but here’s a photo which shows what I’m talking about. I’ve always thought that the one on the left was pretty much the best office in the city.

We’re looking for new space, and are seeing about $5K for 3200 sq. ft. — twice that of the houseboat.

I notice that the Austrian Consulate has a houseboat office down in Coal Harbour. I wonder what discussion with Vienna got them to wangle that: “Yah, here in Fancoufer, zee only offices arr on zee vasser, and zee prices are high, yah, but zerr arr no alternatifs! Yah, vee haff tried, nozzink elz iss available!”
