That’s One Impressive Light Saber Duel

I’ve written about fan-made light saber (is it ‘light saber’ or ‘lightsaber’?) duels before. Unfortunately, the best one I’d seen is no longer available (at least, my 14 second search didn’t come up with anything). That’s okay, though, because this one is an improvement. Via The Movie Blog, this video is pretty damn cool. My only criticism is the choice of venue, as the background is very busy and kind of distracting. Also, the costumes are kind of lame. And, come to think of it, nobody has a rat tail.

Back in the day, when the original Star Wars movies came out, I used to wave around a glow-in-the-dark sword in my backyard. Geeks these days, eh?

Bonus link: In searching for the aforementioned fan film, I happened upon American Jedi, an off-colour short film that sends Anakin back to high school. It’s well done, if a little too long.
