Dancing With Your Dangler Out

Speaking of The Tyee, I just read this amusing (if way too long) article entitled The Naked Truth about Male Stripping. I think my title (from a quote in the article) is way better:

Aylott, a former stripper himself, gets about six applications from would-be male strippers per month. He looks for a toned body and good dance moves, first and foremost, but will help recruits with choreography and costumes. If they pass the basics, Aylott “throws them to the lions” at one of the city’s many Ladies Nights. “The money’s pretty good, ($175 for club gigs and $200 for private parties) but 15 minutes is a long time to be dancing with your dangler out in front of a crowd of women.”

Apparently bites on the buttocks are a major on-the-job hazard. Incidentally, if you should be looking to hire (or just look at) a male stripper, this is the agency featured in the article, creatively called Stripper Entertainment (site not particular safe for work–duh). This clean (and totally) cut fellow is apparently their most popular model.

I’m reminded of two stripper-related resources: The Stripper FAQ and this fascinating technical manual outlining the rules and procedures of stripping at a New York club.

  1. There is one aspect of his anatomy whose state of cut-ness is not revealed. The article does not address a question: One wonders, do women in the United States prefer their male strippers to sport the familiar allure of the “cut”, circumsized penis, or do they crave the exotic Euro-styling of the intact foreskin?

Do Canadian, European and American female audiences differ in their preferences for the bare male?

  2. male strippers are fun. Totally different from female strippers – and you can touch them! (touch a female stripper, and find yourself quickly escorted outside.)

I am most amused by the cock ring, though. All the male strippers I’ve seen appear to have jerked off just before their performance, then added a cock ring so that it stays longer, but not actually hard. I love it, it’s so … completely bizarre. 🙂

And I have to say, while my pole dancing lessons have taught me exactly how hard female strippers work… damn, there’s a LOT more than goes on with a male stripper. One I saw was one of the best fire spinners I’ve ever seen… and this was inside the Dufferin, where you don’t have a lot of room. Throughly impressive. 🙂

  3. A former acquaintance used to moonlight as a dancer-for-hire. His special trick for easy clothes-removal was to apply a thin coat of olive oil to his entire body before dressing in his chosen costume. Apparently the clothes, they just slid right off. Plus, I’d assume, the oily sheen would make it a little easier to escape from prying hands.

  4. Donna is wrong about touching. It’s generally a matter of State Law. In states where you can touch men, you can also touch the women.

  5. donna your a sick person no were near being a lady.what kinda tramp post on a forum about a strippers cock ring?sicko i think you ladies take things to far when it comes to male strippers ive seen the web sites i see the post and i know what happens at these slut fest.

  6. It’s amazing how much less male strippers make than their female counterparts. I wonder if us girls are just stingier with our money and think butt cheek biting is considered a tip? 😉

  7. Women aren’t as aroused by men visually as men are by women…if that makes sense? That is why women will not pay crazy money to a man because women need emotional connection to really lose thier senses…now if a male giving emotional club was opened….that would cause a stir!
