These People Have Been Married for 60 Years

These are Julie’s grandparents, Freda and Henry Teichcrob, at a Christmas dinner we had the other night. They’ve been married for 60 years and 9 days. That’s kind of hard to fathom, isn’t it?

Apparently the record is 80 years, but they’re on good pace to beat that.

  1. Freda and Henry Teichcrob aren’t from Abbotsford, are they? I lived out there from 1987 to 1998, and they look familiar.

    I believe that Teichcrob is a Mennonite name, and I used to go to a MB church.

    60 years together is quite the accomplishment!
