A couple of upcoming arts events that might be of interest to the locals:
- Tomorrow night, talented photographer and all-around good guy Kris Krug is opening a month-long exhibition of his photographs at the Wicked Cafe.
- The Vancouver Fringe Festival is only a couple of weeks away. I’ll post some tips for good shows soon, but I wanted to mention the Preview Gala on September 7th. This is the event for which I was soliciting auction items a while back. There’s the auction, as well as a sneak peak at selected Fringe shows. Tickets are CAN $10 in advance or at the door.
- Bankrupt Artist discusses a bunch of films that are part of the upcoming Vancouver International Film Festival.
