Why is that it that all the nearly-useless but way cool apps are developed for the Mac? I suppose it’s because the Cult of Apple must continue their eternal quest for that-which-is-not-average.
Coverflow is a great looking program that parses your music library and beautifully displays your album covers. Unfortunately, it’s still a technology demo, and the current release was only enabled until July 31. I tried it today, and it fell over on my PowerBook. You might just want to bookmark the site for now, until a new version shows up.
I’m struck by infonesia about how I got there, but I learned about Coverflow via this Flickr image. Here are some more screenshots.
