Client Plug: QA Podcast

Remember back in March when I said I’m not smoking the podcasting dope? Well, I’ve had to smoke a bit of the dope professionally.

QA Labs is one of Capulet’s clients. They’re a near-shore outsourcing company here in Vancouver that only does QA. Their clients include CBC, Chancery Software and Telus.

Given that they’re strictly a services company, we figured that a podcast would be an effective way to raise their visibility, demonstrate their expertise and engage with the online community. Hence QA Podcast. Here’s the spiel:

We think QA is important. Really important. That’s why we started QA Podcast, a bi-weekly show in which experts discuss quality assurance issues in software. Each show will be 15 to 20 minutes, and feature an informal conversation between two or more software professionals. They’re all about technical people having indepth conversations about QA strategies, issues and technologies.

You’ll hear me doing the stupid host thing at the beginning and end of each recording, but then I turn it over to QA Labs and industry folks to chat about QA stuff.

Obviously this will only be of interest to the small subset of my dear readers who are in the software industry. Though, the rest of you may like our cute banner. And, yes, it’s a Bryght site. Thanks also to the Bryght guys for letting us borrow their ‘podcasting studio’.
