Over the past couple of days, I’ve encountered a bunch of new movie trailers. Most of these come courtesy of The Movie Blog:
- Ghostrider
– Nick Cage in yet another comic book adaptation. - Walk
the Line – Bio pic about the early days of Johnny Cash starring Joaquin
Phoenix. I assume this got greenlighted thanks to Ray. - Lord
of War – More Nick Cage–now he’s a gun runner. - Stealth
– You can just smell the panic about this film. It’s an August release, and
has been heavily promoted. I’m guessing it tanks like a Saskatchewan submarine.
The
early reviews are awful. - Bloodrayne
(ZIP file, oddly) – Based on a video game–that’s all you need to know. - Doom
– What’s this? Another video game adaptation. - The
Fog – I saw this one in the cinema recently–it looks pretty scary. - The
Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (MOV) – Heart-warming sixties period piece.
Julianne Moore was made to play these roles.
Bonus Hollywood rumour: Kate Beckinsale may be the
new Wonder Woman. Carrie
Anne Moss had my vote, but if they go with Ms. Beckinsale, at least she’s
a woman (she’s 32). I feared they might choose some 19-year-old.
