Since her range of movement was predictable, I decided about the framing in advance and just focused on freezing the moment. I kept all the billboards in the frame since I wanted to show how tall they were and wanted to see full sky on top.
If you look at the foreground, I think the photo also neatly expresses the ethnic diversity of Toronto.
On a vaguely-related photographic note, I found this tutorial on white balance which I’ve been meaning to read. I’ve never understood how it works.
