VOIP Theatre (or Maybe Bardcasting?)

A while ago, as a footnote to an essay on why I’m not smoking the podcasting dope, I pitched the one podcasting idea I’d had: a bad acting, one-man version of Hamlet, with each podcast being one scene.

Thinking about it now, why limit the bad acting to just me? It’d be more fun to record a Skype (or the VOIP service of your choice) conference call amongst a bunch of people doing a scene. If there was some audio keener out there, they could edit it and add sound effects and music.

There are, after all, more things on Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in my philosophy, so what do you think? Any suggestions?
