Over at BlogsCanada, they’re running an ad hoc poll as to whether there will be an election as a result of today’s budget votes. Currently it’s 32 to 10 against an election.
Things got a little more interesting because David Kilgour has announced that he’ll vote against the government, narrow the Liberal margin. The two votes get underway about 2:45 PST.
UPDATE: Chuck Cadman votes Yes, and the government survives. To quote something I just read, “say hello to a nine-month election campaign”.
