I originally saw this video on Irish television. It’s actually a kind of concept rock video for some band–I can’t remember who and Google doesn’t seem to recall either. The singer sounds Sophie Ellis Baxteresque, but it’s not her.
The video (via Miss Cayce) consists of head-and-shoulders shots of a bunch of women as they get waxed, Brazilian-style (it doesn’t sound like it, but it’s safe for work). It’s pretty amusing, mostly because of their anticipation. There’s also some great bits where the woman in the chair doesn’t speak English, and her friend keeps mistranslating for the esthetician.
It’s only fair, I think, that near the end of the video we see the male director get his own wax-job.

I think it’s by Markus Nikolai, and the one you saw on Irish telly was a re-mix by Norman Cook (FatBoySlim). The title, appropriately enough, is “Bushes”. By the way – top tip on ArcadeFire – very good!
