Flowers from the Heartland Follow-Up

Back in August, I mentioned Flowers from the Heartland. It’s a short film by Peter Daulton that tells the story of how the whole send-flowers-to-gay-couples-getting-married got started. Because of the whole Flowers for Al and Don thing, Peter recently sent me a copy of the film.

It’s a great little movie. It was neat for me to see the couples get all verklempt (sp?) as they received the flowers. I had received lots of messages from flower recipients, but seeing this kind of firsthand footage was cool.
