I’ve managed to get all 107 of our Cuba photos into Flickr. We were generally happy with how the new Nikon D70 performed on its initial outing. I’m finding some images a smidge dark, but this will no doubt be corrected by fiddling with the settings, improving my skills or spending some time in Photoshop. I don’t have time to do any photoshopping to these images–I’ve only reduced them in size.
If you’re not keen on 107 photos, here are three small photo sets from the Teatro Gran, Museo Ernest Hemingway and our bizarre all-inclusive resort. If you’re like my aunt, and only want to see my best three photos, here they are:
- A kid looks down on the street (big version) from a perch on the second floor.
- A view from the gorgeous Teatro Gran (big version).
- Some laundry hangs (big version) in the doorway of an aging apartment building.
I’ve still got to write about our kooky all-inclusive resort, but here’s a list of what I wrote about in Cuba:
- On using a travel agent
- Visiting Ernesto (posted to Jan. 5, the day we visited)
- Crumbling, beautiful Havana
