or just occasionally visiting the pages enable a serendipitous, voyeuristic
look into other people’s lives. Here are my favourites:

Via Gill, here’s a bonus link to a nifty Flickr-related Web app. It uses Flickr tags to display photos by geography. Thus far, it’s limited to the USA.
Interestingly enough I was doing the same thing last night… just browsing the different and interesting tags.
This summer, I went to a networking meeting. Several people said they were not going to put their photos on their websites because the police had told them that “perverts” would morph their faces on to porn. I tried to explain that there are millions of photos on the Internet and that there’s no reason for anyone to focus on a particular business consultant’s professional photos, but most in the room remained unconvinced.

Having a reason for doing it would be news to me, though having a “my contact’s favourite tags” feature on Flickr would be neato.
