Via Metafilter, here’s The Place Project:
A suitcase with a camera and a blank book travelled the world. 35 designers have translated the world around them into their pages. After 18 months and 170.000km it will be presented in Barcelona.
While I’m generally a big fan of globally-distributed, collaborative projects (like this one, this one or this one), this one, with its ’35 desginers’ and Flash site, reeks of snobbery. Why not send this to 35 plumbers or 35 paralegals? You’d get more interesting stories and less crappy psuedo-art video.
