Apologies for the interuption in service over the last 48 hours. You have me to blame. Last week, thinking that I was smart enough to wade into Unix without knowing how to rub two man pages together, I b0rked my dedicated Web server. After much futzing around, it’s (obviously) back up and running. Thanks very much to Richard, Jeremy and Aaron for their excellent technical assistance in getting me five-by-five. If you emailed me in the past 48 hours at my personal account and the message bounced, it’s not because I don’t love you. But you will have to send it again.
Of course, this did mean that I went a whole day of not blogging about blogging. Sweet. On the other hand, I’ve lost two valuable days worth of voting. Go and vote–see if you can’t bolster me into fifth place.
did you know it’s perfectly legal to vote once per day?
darren, when’s the link to the voting site going up?
Er, maybe you came to the page through an individual entry? Go to the home page and check out the pleading logo in the sidebar.
Hey, you cheated on the whole not blogging about blogging thing. =P
By the by, if your site ever again assumes the form of a delicious apple-esque fruit feel free to add me to your emergency nerds list. I’ve been UNIXing for seven years or so now and would be glad to help.
Hey Darren,
No problem whatsoever. Glad I could help. By the way, your DNS was down, thus farking all your other services. Call on me again if you need to. You know where to find me.
