Bill from Marginalia points out that the storied Paris Review is posting all of its author interviews online. This is a great move for the magazine, and no doubt will bring a ton of traffic to their site. Unfortunately, they’re in PDF format, but beggars can’t be choosers. Furthermore, they’ve secured the PDFs so that you can’t copy text out of them (I was going to excerpt the Dorothy Parker piece). So, a generous move by the publication, but not that generous.

Mmmm, I *love* Dorothy Parker!
I have have pretty good success accessing the contents of locked PDFs with GhostScript. At the very least I have been able to save it unlocked.
