For Northern Voice, we want to add a Current Weather section to our Vancouver information page. I thought Environment Canada might offer something, but I couldn’t find anything in my 26-second skim. I’ve also seen WeatherPixie, but it’s a little twee for my taste. Any suggestions?
UPDATE: Heather writes to suggest Weather.com. They’re not bad, though as you can see from the Vancouver info page, it doesn’t render correctly in Mozilla. Still, beggars can’t be choosers.
UPDATE #2: I decided I wasn’t down with Weather.com, and so went looking for something more Canadian. I found this page. The humility of the Weather Network’s button appealed. It still doesn’t render quite right on the Northern Voice page (maybe it’s the page and not the browser), but it’ll do.var LocationID = ‘CABC0308’;
have you looked at theweathernetwork.com or http://www.weather.com?
In truth, I’m feeling lazy, and am hoping for a really granular suggestion. As in, “go to this page and implement this code”.
I did turn up this on Weather.com, which will certainly handle it. Thanks for that.
Or, I could just turn on the Drupal Weather module…
Drupal, schmupal. You might have mentioned that at our meeting on Wednesday. Could you turn on the Drupal Pants module as well? I need some new khakies.
Did you check out Weather Underground? Really wide variety of stickers:

Ooohh.. same one I have. Got to love that cut and paste html!
First time at your website and I think I have a solution for your weather woes.

I did up a website for my skydiving club, and I use the weather network boxes for both of our dropzones. Looks fine in both IE and Firefox.
I find that (on occasion) the weather network forcast can differ substantially from the CBC however.
