I’m having a rare 48-hour period without the Internet this weekend, as I’m
off to Manning Park Resort.
Hopefully this will get you through until Monday.
- Holiday planning with virtual
landscapes. Those Swiss are so clever. Thanks, Clive. - Great
essay on organizing information in Web sites. - Real-life people and their gaming avatars side-by-side.
The amusing gallery is here. - Surreal text
generator. Thanks, Gwendolyn. - The
most fun (MOV file) you can have with unicycles. Thanks, BoingBoing. - Mmm…that’s good
Web crack. Beat my record of 5.5 seconds. - I want this
T-shirt. Plus I want one that says "Anti-consumerism made me buy
this shirt". - New, earth-friendly
pavement. - Things you
should buy used. - Men
pulling corks. Sounds dirty, but it’s safe for work. - Get the facts on your
scrotum. Again, sounds a little naughty, but safe for work as well.
“… Hopefully this will get you through until Monday”.
We’re fine, trust me. Question is, can you get through 48 hours without blogging anything?
It’ll be touch-and-go, but I think I’ll manage.
Earth-Friendly Pavement: Not motorcycle friendly at all (or pedal-bike, for that matter.) Of course, neither is rain, but overall… bikes are gonna do pretty badly on a road with a ton of holes in it.
I definitely prefer my men well-used.
4.809 seconds. Fun timewaster. Thanks!
