Just a quick update to say that, after four days in some dark and bear-rich corner of Ontario, I’m safely jetlagged in Dublin. I’ll be having some meetings, seeing some friends, etc for a few days here, and once I’m more cogent I’ll post something more entertaining.
Landed in Dublin

You’re in Dublin and you’re hoping to remain cogent?
Guinness (or my personal preference, Murphy’s) flows like water and you want to remain cogent?
Does cogent mean drunk?
Only if he’s overdosing on cola.
Darren, if memory serves, (and it probably doesn’t) doesn’t drink.
[holy crap: I just tried to parse that first sentence, and maybe I should get off the sauce.]
Therefore, he is safe from the ravages of the black creamy nectar.
Guinness, the stout’s stout. The Stout With Clout.
Suddenly, I’m thirsty. Wish I had one. And it’s only 7:00 AM.
Hey since you don’t drink, Darren, can you use your duty-free allowance to pick me up some Bombay Sapphire gin at the duty-free? I’ll pay ya back – just get the biggest bottle they have! (Tanqueray if they haven’t got Bombay).
I can’t believe I am placing a duty free order on Darren’s blog. What a jerk I am.
*g* That’s okay, Sue — didn’t you do the same one mine? And hey, it paid off! 🙂
Sorry you felt you were not entertained at Limberlost. We don’t remember it being dark at all. Funny…others appeared to have fun absorbing the beauty of true Canadian heritage whilst hiking, swimming, canoeing, interacting with family members and receiving the generosity and kindness of lifetime friends, but guess that wasn’t the sun shining after all….
