Jeff MacIntyre tells me that the Dartmouth College offers its students, staff, faculty and alumni free weblogs. That’s pretty cool, and encourages academic institutions to dump more of their knowledge into the public domain, instead of restricting it to obscure, subscription-based journals.

  1. I’m going to bet that this isn’t a Dartmouth College-sponsored blog site. The first quote on the site is what gives it away: “Happiness is a warm gun.” Not something the College is likely to put on a College website.
