I’ve got a colleague who is selling his house in East Neuk (not his site, though I like the cut of this male choir’s jib). For the geographically-challenged (well, for everybody not from East Neuk), that’s near St. Andrews. Where’s St. Andrews, you ask? Here. My colleague reports that ‘the house faces the harbor with nothing to block the view between it and the North Sea’. I’ll bet the weather’s great.
If you’re interested, contact me and I’ll put you in touch with him.
Don’t know about East Neuk but I was in St Andrews visiting my girlfriend last November and it was sunny then. Same thing when I went back there this May – superb weather.
St Andrews is quaint and its castle is a must-see especially the ancient mine and counter-mine.
And don’t miss Drouthy Neebers – it’s a wonderful pub.
PS: No – I don’t work for the Scottish Tourist Board!
How much?
I’m not sure, to be honest. In light of the British pound, quite a bit, I expect.
