I was looking at the keyword phrass that people most often used to locate my site this month. The following are all in the top twenty:
1. jem and the holograms
2. josh hartnett
5. ashkan sahihi
6. gay wrestling
13. emmanuel sandhu
20. josh hartnett wallpaper
Huh. I suppose these are offset by very more macho keyword phrases like “slightest touch”, “technical writer” and “therblig”. Right? Right?
db.com never struck me as a ‘gay site’ – perhaps ‘barely metrosexual’. But that’s it.
Jem and the Holograms? I must have missed that post.
It’s odd the things that attract people to our pages. For some reason, the timeless question of “Is Vern Yip gay?” (a designer from Trading Spaces) is the question that gets me the hits.
Go figure.
I can’t believe that people are actually doing web searches on Emmanuel Sandhu.
i missed the jem and the holograms posting too! bet it was truly outrageous.
I get scads of hits for “tree octopus”. Thank goodness, now you will, too.
My #1 search term? “Comic book guy”. A little subsite of mine (http://staticred.net/comicguy) comes up in the top 5 on google for that term.
