First, Leafs captain Mats Sundin throws his broken stick into the crowd. The next night, while the Ottawa Senators are pounding the Leafs, Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson breaks his stick, and pretends to throw it into the seats. Check out the video (link to MPG, not sure how long it will last).

I thought throwing a broken stick on the ice was a long-standing sign of displeasure during hockey. Throwing it into the crowd? That’s the new part, heh.
