- A photoblog of celebrty
sightings (Ron Jeremy has looked better). - Typography
terms illustrated and explained. To my eternal shame, I’ve never been
able to keep kerning and ligatures straight in my head. - Wonderful (and more or less work-safe) posters
from x-rated movies of the sixties and seventies. - Stock photography searchable
by colour. - The last one is perhaps my favourite link of the week. Some enterprising
Russian has assembled a massive list of screenshots from video games. The
kicker? They’re all screenshots of video
game toilets, from Alien vs. Predator to X-Com 3.

What’s scary is that I know enough to make comments on the videogame toilets screenshots. I can only plead that my previously employed position of ‘videogame historian’ is a reasonable explanation:
The ‘toilet’ for Neverhood is not a toilet, it’s a wastepaper basket.
It’s interesting to note that the oldest game on the list appears to be Leisure Suit Larry. Shocker that.
My vote for best ‘toilet’ humour actually goes to a game they didn’t get on the list: Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders.
